lying dormant, waiting for a chance for fruition
a break across the sky
and suddenly they all shatter, never to be discovered
you are left with a single beautiful moment
yet deprived of all the joy and misery it could have been
but there it is, in your being
the infinite possibilities that could have been
they all live on inside of you
spiraling out and contorting into thick roots
and that is when you realize
that the moment has shattered you
