Every day another brick is lain over my head
Cemented and sealed into place
Holding me down
Until finally the last brick is placed
And this home is finally finished for all your love to flourish in

  1. I wish we could talk about this together so I could understand what you're going through. What's wrong between us is symptomatic of something else. I don't want to solve it, "to get my way," and force a relationhip we might never have been able to share in the first place. I'm talking about our most basic sense of connection on a human level; decency, kindness, understanding, empathy and the ability to simply co-exist without stress. I'm not here to hurt you. Please. When are you going to understand that. I'm just me. I'm just here, beside you as a friend, trying to figure out how to dismantle this frustration. Wish you would give me some credit for trying to stand on my head and all hoop jumping you put me through. Is it a test of loyalty and trust or constant evasion?
